Tre was born at 23 weeks premature and wound up spending 252 days in the NICU. He is currently trach/ventilator dependent, and also has a feeding tube. If that’s not enough for this little warrior to go through, he was recently diagnosed with stage 3 liver cancer, and is currently receiving chemotherapy to assist in shrinking the tumor inside his little liver.
Our sick child recipient of 2021 - please welcome Tre and his family into our own!
Shannon Walter was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2019, which has metastasized to her brain and spinal fluid. She’s on oral chemotherapy and needs all of our love and support.
Our Brest Cancer Warrior for 2021, please welcome Shannon to our family!
Efrain Negron Jr., and his family lost everything in a fire. We are happy and proud to introduce you to Efrain and the entire Negron family, our burn survivor recipient of 2021!
First time in STC history, we have adopted a second "Uncle Sid's Kid" for 2021! Lewis, like any other boy, loves to play and have fun. Unfortunately, what you can’t see is that on the inside, he suffers from Cystic Fibrosis. Commonly referred to as “Sixty-Five Roses” by smaller children because it’s easier to say.
Compounding this beautiful families situation, Dad has had his own bout with medical issues that prevents him from working. In speaking with the Mom; she understands that we are going to do our very best to help them in 2021 with a gift. If we don’t meet that goal, we will carry them to 2022. However we feel that we can do this and help FOUR families this year! Everyone say “Hello” to Lewis!!
